Taste and Talk is a local charity organization founded by Media Executive and Producer Lauren Gellert as part of her family’s 501c3 public foundation Sharing With You.

After October 7th 2023, and leaving her post as head of programming for AMCNetworks cable channel WEtv, Lauren decided she needed to do something to bring women from her community together and raise money for the Israeli families impacted by the brutal attack by Hamas.

A purpose-driven women’s salon was born.

Lauren invites women from the local area (and now beyond) to her home each month to share ideas, hear from thought leaders, and enjoy a wine tasting hosted by a local sommelier. She encourages people to invite friends to increase the opportunity for new relationships to be developed by attendees.

Taste & Talk features a variety of female speakers from all over the tri-state area. Experts on topics like Menopause, Life Coaching, Sex, Spirituality, Finance, Parenting, Entrepreneurship and more have participated in Taste & Talk, sharing valuable and actionable information in short speaker sessions hosted by Lauren.

Women have the opportunity to taste four to five different wines each month and purchase bottles if they choose.

These gatherings have become a popular place for women to make new connections in Westchester County and Lauren’s “invite your friends” policy is one she hopes will continue to help grow the Taste and Talk community and the participants experience each month.

Zoe's Heroes

Zoe's Heroes is an organization created on behalf of Bobby Gellert's oldest daughter, Zoe, that is dedicated to raising awareness and helping pediatrics with chronic pain that most often affects an exterior limb, usually after an injury, and is believed to be caused by damage to, or malfunction of, the peripheral and central nervous systems.

Zoe has a central nervous system disorder called CRPS, which stands for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. After she was injured, Bobby formed this foundation to raise awareness and funds to help pediatrics suffering from CRPS.

Brewster Yards

Bobby is deeply passsionate about baseball. He spent his childhood playing with his brothers and in youth leagues until he was recruited to play at SUNY Albany.

He's proud to introduce The Farm at Brewster Yards, coming soon to Putnam County, which is a community dedicated to creating and sustaining constructive ways to integrate sports into young people's lives.

This development will feature a 45,000-square-foot indoor training facility, two 132 x 132 diamond fields, four multi-purpose event rooms, and a state-of-the-art technology and performance center. Outdoor there will be nine (9) turf baseball fields and one multi-purpose field all under lights.
